In a recent announcement, Gothic Landscape, Valencia, California, stated that it has acquired Terra Pacific Landscaping, located in Orange County, California. Operating across three states, Gothic has more than 1,600 employees.
Both businesses are family-owned; Gothic has been family-owned and operated since 1984. It has regional offices in Arizona and Nevada and provides landscape construction and maintenance services. Terra Pacific was founded in 1988, and has branch offices in San Diego, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.
Founder Richard Wingard will have a senior management role, working closely with Gothic president Ron Georgio.“We couldn’t have found a better partner,” said Wingard of the sale. “It expands the services and resources available to current Terra customers, and provides professional growth and advancement opportunities for our employees.”
Georgio talked about how the acquisition would extend the company’s footprint, with the inclusion of Terra’s Class A commercial clientele. “This diversifies our portfolio of services and clients,” he said. “It will provide additional synergies, too, particularly in our tree, water and sustainability work.”
