Kayleigh Williams, owner of Dig My Garden Landscaping in Jacksonville, Oregon, recently saw a woman in her wheelchair, trying to pick up sticks on her property. The resident's front yard was overgrown with trees, bushes and brush. Williams said she felt it was her duty to volunteer her services, once she found out the resident otherwise could not afford it.
"Just to get a lot of the fire hazards and a lot of the main debris out of here, and make things manageable," Williams said. She hopes to continue the work every Monday, until the overgrowth is gone.
Williams says the property needs a lot of tree work done, and she hopes there is a local tree service, with the proper permits available, to donate their time and resources.
