A property owner in Jonesboro, Arkansas, told police that she had surveillance video from November 30th of a man breaking into her garage. The man was later identified as self-employed landscaper Shannon Lee Herring.

Herring admitted to taking a leaf blower from one residence and a chainsaw, weed eater and leaf blower from another residence where he had done lawn work in the past.

“Herring further stated that he took items from other houses but he could not remember the locations, due to being on Xanax at the time of the thefts,” the affidavit states.

Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge Herring with three counts of breaking or entering and three counts of theft. Herring was given a $5,000 bond and told to appear in Craighead County Circuit Court in January.
