In an effort to fill nearly 100 manufacturing and distribution positions, Hunter Industries will host an on-site hiring event on Friday, March 2, and Saturday, March 3, 2018.
Headquartered in northern San Diego County, Hunter is a global leader in the development of irrigation and landscape lighting solutions, as well as the custom manufacturing and dispensing technology sectors. The company is rapidly growing and actively seeking new talent to join its workforce. Permanent and temporary opportunities are available. Some of the positions to be filled include machinists, molding process technicians, manufacturing engineers, process engineers, and automation maintenance supervisors.
“We look forward to welcoming new members to the Hunter family who will strengthen our commitment to product innovation and to customer satisfaction,” says Scotty Lombardi, Senior Manager of Global Talent Management.
The event will be held at Hunter headquarters from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 2, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 3. Candidates should look for Hunter representatives under the solar panels in the covered parking lot at 1902 Diamond Street. There will be signs on nearby roads to help guide the way. As a testament to Hunter’s close relationship with the surrounding community, San Marcos Mayor Jim Desmond will be present to kick off the event.
The event will be hosted job-fair style, so prospective employees can connect directly with hiring managers. Candidates should dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes.
