The greenway will be part of an overall network of greenways commissioned by Great Rivers Greenway and partners.

Stoss Landscape Urbanism, St. Louis, has won a design competition for the Chouteau Greenway, a network of greenways commissioned by the non-profit Green Rivers Greenway and partners.

The proposal will transform an uninhabited stretch of land into a nature-filled space connecting St. Louis’ Foster Park and the Gateway Arch, according to Inhabit.

The jury praised the Stoss Landscape Urbanism team for their clear framework and consideration of different stakeholder needs. The company will work with project partners to go into depth about the greenway, which could wrap up as soon as mid-July, according to Inhabit.
