The awards are bestowed on companies that are giving back to their communities.

The National Association of Landscape Professionals, Fairfax, Virginia has announced the winners of its 2018 Community Partnership Awards. The award recognizes landscape industry companies who demonstrate leadership in helping restore or revive communities.

This year, three different companies were singled out for the honor: TruGreen, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee; LandCare, San Diego, California; and MasterScapes, Abilene, Texas.

The award is presented to companies that are actively engaged in making positive contributions to communities while also highlighting the aesthetic, environmental and quality-of-life benefits that the landscaping industry brings to communities across America.

TruGreen was given the Community Partnership for Outstanding Company Culture Award for its national TruNeighbor program, dedicated to completing renovation projects across the country.

LandCare received the Community Partnership for Outstanding Company Culture Award for its National Community Care Day. On that day, each of the company’s 50 branches is allowed to create its own volunteer service project in the community it does business in.

Finally, MasterScapes was given the Community Partnership for Outstanding Service Project Award for its work renovating and providing year-round maintenance for a popular local children’s park and garden.
