The Florida Irrigation Society will hold its 2nd Annual Florida Water Summit from Wednesday, July 28 Friday, July 30, at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, Orlando, Florida.

The Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC) training review will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. A one-hour session on Pump System Applications and Configurations, a two-hour session on Florida Water Star, and a two-hour session on Landscape Irrigation Laws & Rules will be held on Thursday, July 29.

On Friday, July 30, Florida State Senator Michael S. Bennett will discuss future legislation of water and irrigation policy and its impact on irrigation contractors. In addition, national and regional green industry leaders will speak on recent and planned regulatory changes, market trends and new regulations.

Irrigation Association exams will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 8 a.m.-12 noon. Courses and attendance at the conference will count toward Irrigation Association certification renewals and Volusia County CEUs for license renewals.
