Bob Fragala died of a heart attack at his winter home in Desert Hot Springs, California; he was 75 years old. Fragala was co-founder of Stateline Irrigation Supply in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts.

He graduated Tufts University with a B.S. in chemistry/biology in 1964, and an M.S. in sanitary engineering in 1965. He eventually entered the sales and marketing end of the water management and irrigation business, working at Watts Regulator and RainBird.

Fragalla and John Oliva became partners in a sales representative company, Eastern Sales. They were the first sales rep firm to represent Hunter Industries. They essentially put Hunter on the map by establishing a distribution network east of the Mississippi.

In 1988, Fragala co-founded Stateline Irrigation Supply, which is now operated by his son, Rob. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, as well as his children and grandchildren. He will be missed.
