The business has been burglarized three times in the last eight months.

Running and growing a business can be hard enough, but facing equipment loss on top of that can be burdensome. Pro Touch Landscapes in Gainesville, Georgia has been the victim of burglary for the third time this year, according to an article on The Times’ website.

The most recent incident occurred Nov. 13, when three lawn mowers, a truck and other landscaping items totaling more than $80,000 were stolen.

Owner and Gainesville City Councilman Zach Thompson says that this time the thieves had a key to get in the gates, and he’s unsure whether they picked it or had a copy of the key to the lock.

In March, three suspects disabled the electricity and cut the fence before taking six backpack blowers.

And then in October, suspects cut the fence by running a car through it. Thompson reported around 40 items missing along with a $35,000 truck, totaling $50,000 in property loss. Thompson says the thieves were experienced as they completed the crime in about 12 minutes time. The stolen truck was recovered but hasn’t been released by law enforcement yet.

This latest incident involved just one person, who took about an hour, according to the article. The stolen truck was recovered without the keys.

Thompson has offered rewards for the two most recent incidents.
