Gothic Landscape, Valencia, California, has announced two regional promotions in its construction and maintenance divisions.
Darrin Shannon has been promoted to California regional construction manager of Gothic’s Construction Division, and Tony Sayegh has been promoted to regional manager for the Northern and Southern California Regions of the Maintenance Division.
Shannon began his career at Gothic in 2001 following his graduation from California Polytechnic State University—San Luis Obispo with a B.S. degree in agricultural business with a focus on marketing. He held a series of increasingly senior positions at Gothic over the next 18 years and was most recently the Riverside branch manager. In his new position, Shannon will have responsibility for the Construction Division’s branches in Riverside/Orange County/San Diego, Los Angeles/Ventura and Northern California.
Shannon resides in Riverside, California, with his wife Annette and their children. Sayegh joined Gothic in 2010 in business development and transitioned to operations as both an account manager and, most recently, as branch manager of the Santa Clarita Valley Branch of the maintenance division. A 2004 graduate of California State University – Chico with a B.S. degree in business administration, Sayegh led the Santa Clarita Valley Branch in back-to-back Branch of the Year awards and was the recipient of the 2018 Michael Georgio Award for exceptional service and execution.
Sayegh and his wife live in Valencia. “We are pleased to recognize the accomplishments of two, long-term, senior Gothic leaders,” says Jon Georgio, CEO of Gothic Landscape. “Both have contributed significantly to the growth of their respective branches, the growth and development of their teams and their commitment to creating and maintaining a culture of extraordinary service.”
