Late May rains have created delays for lawn care companies and landscapers in Maine. The season for these services has only just begun here, and yet, many companies are already behind, according to an article posted to www.wgme.com.
As of May 20, AC Yard Services in Falmouth says it’s two weeks behind schedule. While grass is growing and flowers are blooming it’s been too wet to get much work completed. Owner Justin Hayden told WGME his company has had to postpone services because the topsoil they had delivered to a home is too wet to work with.
He’s even had to put his crews to work on the weekends, which he doesn’t normally do to take advantage of some dry weather.
