Founder of Raising Men Lawn Care Service focused tour on helping veterans.

Rodney Smith Jr. has finished his fifth U.S. tour mowing lawns in each state for people in need. While the founder of Raising Men Lawn Care Service helps people in need such as disabled, elderly and single mothers, this tour was specifically to help military veterans by providing free lawn care service, according to an article on CNN.com.

Smith was featured in the February 2019 issue of Irrigation & Green Industry. His foundation’s 50 Yard Challenge recruits children ages 7 to 17 to mow lawns for those in need.

His most recent tour started May 5. Delta Airlines reportedly sponsored Smith’s trips to Alaska and Hawaii to complete the tour. A seven-continent tour is next for Smith. That may be tricky in Antartica, but Smith told CNN he also shovels snow.
