Running through a sprinkler on a warm day is a great way to cool down, unless you’re in the middle of a match at the world’s most famous tennis tournament.

An unexpected interruption took place at Wimbledon when an irrigation sprinkler went off unexpectedly. Artem Sitak and Laura Siegemund were regrouping between points of their first-round mixed doubles match against Ken Skupski and Darija Jurak on Friday, July 5, when a sprinkler behind the umpire’s chair suddenly went off and sent the players scrambling.

An employee was able to halt the spray by stepping on the sprinkler but lost control and a burst of water knocked over a trash can and the players’ chairs.

Officials ruled there was too much water on the court that the game had to be moved to another court where Sitak and Siegemund went on to win the match in three sets.
