Rodney Smith Jr. is back at it again. The Huntsville, Alabama, native is kicking off his latest mowing tour, and this time, he’s enlisting the help of law enforcement.

Smith has already completed five mowing tours in the U.S. mowing lawns for the elderly, disabled, single parents and veterans. His latest tour is called “Mowing with Cops,” which kicked off on August 14.

Smith writes on his website, “The goal of this tour is not just to have officers mow with me and to thank them for their service, but to also bring the community together around those who serve and protect us.”

Smith is the founder of the organization, Raising Men Lawn Care Service, which recruits young men and women ages 7 to 17 to mow lawns for those in need to complete a 50 Yard Challenge.

Smith was featured in the February 2019 issue of Irrigation & Green Industry.
