Dix.Hite + Partners, a landscape architecture firm based in Longwood, Florida, has announced that Jennie Lynn Rudder, PLA has been promoted to principal.
A 13-year landscape architecture industry veteran, Rudder has been with Dix.Hite for seven years and was instrumental in expanding the firm’s presence from Longwood, Florida, and Birmingham, Alabama, to Atlanta in 2017. In her previous role of studio leader of Dix.Hite’s Atlanta office, Rudder oversaw design work on prominent projects such as a future hotel at the Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (currently in design stage), Grady Center for Advanced Surgical Services (currently in design stage) and Novel Old Fourth Ward Apartments (currently under construction).
In her new role, Rudder will continue to lead projects and grow Dix.Hite’s Atlanta office, providing leadership and vision to the team as it expands its work in the greater-Atlanta area.
“Jennie Lynn has been a Dix.Hite rockstar since she first walked through our doors,” said Chris Hite, CEO of Dix.Hite + Partners. “Her natural leadership coupled with her positive attitude and industry expertise made the decision to elevate her to a principal at our firm an easy one.”
Rudder graduated from University of Georgia, Athens in 2003. She is a graduate of the 2019 Urban Land Institute Center for Leadership and has been a ULI member since 2007. She also previously served as board president for the UGA College of Environment + Design Alumni Association, where she continues to hold a seat and serves.
