Josh Chapman brings over 25 years of leadership experience.

Chicago-based LandscapeHub, a digital marketplace for the wholesale landscape and nursery industry, announced and welcomed Josh Chapman as the company’s first chief operating officer. With more than 25 years of leadership experience, Chapman brings valuable influence to LandscapeHub’s executive team during a period of rapid growth. As COO, Chapman will lead operations, growth and marketing and will direct the company’s finance and accounting functions.

“Josh joins LandscapeHub with a wealth of operational experience,” says Lisa Fiore, LandscapeHub’s CEO and co-founder. "We are thrilled to have his expertise as part of our leadership team as we continue to expand into new markets and build out our product offering."

Before joining LandscapeHub, Chapman was the COO and Treasurer at Matter, the Chicago-based healthcare start-up incubator, where he was responsible for all non-sales activities, including finance, human resources, marketing, technology, operations and programs.

Prior to Matter, Josh was the CEO of GiveForward, the first personal crowdfunding site in the U.S. that was acquired by YouCaring in 2017. Chapman was on the senior management team at Cars.com during their $3 billion acquisition by Gannett. As a division vice president at Conduent, he launched and built a 50-person project into a $65 million business with over 2,200 employees.

“It’s exciting to be part of a company like LandscapeHub that is expanding quickly and helping the industry to become more efficient,” says Chapman. “It is a tremendous pleasure to join Lisa and the team, and I am eager to help further the company’s growth and success.”

An alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University, Chapman is a published author, keynote speaker, and was recognized as the top customer experience executive by the International Customer Management Institute in 2013. He also serves on the Board of LaRabida Children’s Hospital, as an advisor to multiple start-ups and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
