The company partnered with Feeding America to support hunger relief.

Attendees at this year’s GIE+Expo held Oct. 16-18 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, helped provide 103,000 meals to people in need across America. Kawasaki Motors Corp. USA., Engine Division, Grand Rapids, Michigan, partnered with Feeding America, the country’s largest hunger relief organization, to raise funds supporting the organization’s 200 local food banks.

Kawasaki shared the cause they were supporting with each attendee who stopped at various stations within the Kawasaki exhibit. Participating attendees were rewarded with a hat and informed that Kawasaki would then add to its Feeding America donation.

This is the second year that Kawasaki has partnered with the charity to help reduce the incidence of food-insecurity. The company exceeded last year’s initial effort which raised enough funds to provide 88,000 meals.
