Kubota Tractor Corporation, Grapevine, Texas, announced a first-ever community revitalization grant program, “Hometown Proud,” and is calling on all cities, towns, municipalities and nonprofits to submit an application for a chance to win $100,000 in funding and use of Kubota equipment to refresh, refurbish or revitalize a public space.

The application process is open now through April 27, 2021, and any community project from parks, playgrounds, and baseball fields to rodeo and community arenas will be considered. Five finalists will be selected and put to public vote in May. The community project with the highest combined score from points and votes will be awarded the grant during summer 2021.

“At Kubota, we know times have been tough over the past year. Just like for our dealer network and the communities they serve, we know municipalities and nonprofits never stopped working to provide support,” says Todd Stucke, Kubota senior vice president, marketing, product support and strategic projects. “The Hometown Proud grant program couples much-needed funding with the use of hardworking Kubota equipment – whether it be excavators, turf equipment or tractors – versatile tools to bring a community project to life for one local city, town or a nonprofit that helps it stay strong. It could be your community. It could be your vision. Our mission is to help you build it.”
