Corso’s Flower and Garden Center complying with immigration investigation
Ohio company says it will continue to focus efforts on serving customers as the investigation proceeds.
United States immigration agents have arrested 114 landscapers in two locations of Corso’s Flower & Garden Center in Sandusky, Ohio, and Castalia, Ohio, on June 5.
Corso’s Flower and Garden Center has released a statement on June 7 and reports that it is fully complying with the investigation.
The company says it strives to comply with U.S. employment laws and asks its employees and prospective employees for legitimate identification and documentation. Corso’s reports that it was not aware of any mistakes or of anyone using false or fraudulent documents to secure employment.
