Spartan Mowers opens new facility, has openings for 400 employees

Headquartered in Batesville, Arkansas, Spartan Mowers has just opened a new facility, bringing hundreds of jobs to the community, according to an article on KAIT 8 News website.

A ribbon cutting for the facility took place Tues., May 21. The company says it has openings for 400 employees and has big plans for the future.

The 206,000 square-foot building will house areas for receiving, assembly and shipping.

State representatives and city leaders were at Tuesday’s event to celebrate the occasion. Gov. Asa Hutchinson said the company’s owners are an asset to the community and play an important role in the state’s manufacturing workforce.

According to the article, founders of the Spartan Mowers, Robert and Becky Foster, have been active in the community and various organizations for years. They own six companies headquartered in Batesville, Arkansas: Intimidator UTVs, Spartan Mowers, Bad Dawg Accessories, Ground Hog Max, Gourmet Guru Grills, and Envy.
