BrightView Golf Maintenance, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, has been selected by Hillendale Country Club in Phoenix, Maryland, to maintain its par 72 championship course. BrightView will be responsible for all aspects of course maintenance, including turf, irrigation and equipment.

Founded in 1923 and located in northern Baltimore County, Hillendale Country Club is one of Baltimore’s best kept secrets, says Greg Pieschala, president of BrightView Golf Maintenance.

During the club’s long history, many events have been hosted there, including the PGA Tour’s Tournament Player’s Series (The Greater Baltimore Open), the Middle Atlantic Section PGA Professional Championship, the Maryland State Golf Association’s Open Championship, Amateur Championship, the USGA US Open Qualifier, the Women’s Eastern Amateur Championship and numerous collegiate and charitable competitions.

“We are honored to have been chosen to care for this historic course, one of the best-known private golf facilities in Maryland,” says Pieschala. “We are looking forward to helping Hillendale continue to establish itself as a premier family recreational facility, providing the best golf experience in the region for members, visitors and competitive golfers.”

“Combining our ongoing due diligence with the exceptionally smooth and comprehensive negotiation process, BrightView truly earned our trust as being a partner who will continue to deliver the finest of conditions while streamlining our costs,” says Gabrielle Hart, Hillendale Country Club president. “We are very pleased with our decision.”
